THE TEAM
“It is my job not just to arrange your bodies into shapes but to actually move you; stir up your breath, cultivate your bravery and raise your vibration”
Di Goodman
Founder and owner of Ruah Yoga Studio, Di Goodman came to yoga over 20 years ago as many do in her attempt to age gracefully while dealing with stresses of work and a growing family. The only thing that felt certain at the time was the aging.
Di has participated in over 1000 hours of trainings with the likes of of Baron Baptiste, Beryl Bender Birch, Rolfe Gates, Jess Lazar and Shiva Rea. Di is a practicing family law attorney and mediator experienced in guiding humans through tough transitions.
The practice that has emerged from her eclectic background is a practice that contains a full range of asana possibility from hot power vinyasa to gentle flows for beginners. Di has been leading retreats and teacher trainings for over 12 years.
“My goal is to cultivate space for breath and movement connection. Whether we find it in a heated studio, an outdoor area, or your kitchen while cooking pasta, movement is nourishment and it is necessary”
